My electric bill was super high this month, so I decided it was finally time to break down and buy an electric meter I can plug in. I decided on this one: Kill-A-Watt.
While I was searching for meters I ran across a really cool site with info on building a laser based electric meter reader that you can build yourself. It looks pretty sweet if you don’t mind running wires to your meter. His site has some other cool links as well.
